"Kazan Koran" has a long history. For the first time the Muslim holy book, on a specially created fonts Mullah Guzman, was published by order of Catherine II in 1787 in St. Petersburg. A few years later the Quran font was moved to Kazan, where he began his triumphal march around the world, receiving the name "Kazan basmasy" ("Kazan Koran").
